Beautiful and Peaceful Retreat Fantastic Villa in a fantastic location couldn't have wished for a more tranquil and peaceful setting. Benedetta and Roberto were fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us to enjoy our stay. Outside space and pool were all really clean and well maintained. Our favourite was the BBQ area and the pizza oven which was brilliant. All the bedrooms were large in size and all were equipped with en-suite so each room was private which was good as we stayed with other couples here. Kitchen and living are also well equipped. Couldn't recommend staying here more and two brilliant hosts we loved it

A little paradise at the gates of Paradise. Casale Santa Margherita, at the gates of Assisi (which can also be easily reached on foot through the beautiful forest of S. Francesco), is a truly fantastic Umbrian farmhouse, a little paradise for large groups like ours (12 people, including 6 children from 4 to 14 years old). Truly beautiful and functional farmhouse, spacious bedrooms and (fantastic) a bathroom for each room; a huge kitchen where you can all dine together comfortably, without forgetting the outdoor spaces, very well cared for, immersed in the countryside: garden, swimming pool, olive grove... Very kind and helpful owners: you can clearly see all the love they feel for their splendid land and the desire to pass it on to others. Truly a beautiful experience, we will be back!

Beyond all expectations! Fantastic farmhouse cared for in every detail, equipped with every comfort, clean, warm and welcoming environment, perfect even for large groups because the spaces are large and well organized; The owners are very helpful and friendly, they welcomed us with a warm welcome offering us a taste of some local products. The location is strategic, close to the center of Assisi but in a quiet and silent area. What can I say...beyond all expectations!!! We plan to return in the summer to be able to enjoy the swimming pool and the outdoor spaces that are at least as worthy as the indoor ones.

This was the perfect holiday house for a group of families (3) spacious, all bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite, enough room inside and out for all ages without being on top of each other. And for extra privacy there is outside accommodation for a couple or even a small family. The pool is huge so no problem with space there either. It is of one depth which means parents aren't constantly worried about the deep end. Close enough to walk to Assisi (which demands repeat visits). Santa Maria Degli Angeli is well worth a visit too. Roberto was an excellent host, so welcoming and so understanding about all the various ages we had and spoke perfect English which was a huge help. It was a hugely successful family holiday.

Review of our stay in this villa My family of 12 has just returned from our wonderful stay at this villa. Roberto and Benedetta were great hosts, they ensured we had the bedrooms set up to our liking for the families staying, arranged taxi transfers from the airport, gave us a very warm welcome and took the time to show us how everything worked, had a lovely snack ready for our arrival and answered all of our queries promptly during our stay! The villa was spacious and in a beaitiful, quiet location, with a fantastic view of Assisi and the surrounding area. The swimming pool was great and the children spent many hours playing in it! This home away from home had everything we needed, and we had a wonderful stay here, and hope to return again one day! Benedetta and Roberto were wonderful hosts, and we have loved staying in their beautiful home.

Great stay. We booked this trip with 8 people and had a wonderful time. The house had all we needed. Very nice rooms and each room has its own bathroom. We had all the luxury we needed. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and they had a huge garden to play in. We went to Assisi several times and there are some very good restaurants. If you like a wine tasting, we can really recommend the winery Cantina Cenci. It's the 50 minute drive more than worth! An other great tip is buying some olive oil from Roberto himself. You really taste the difference with the olive oil you buy in the supermarket! In one word, our holiday was: GREAT

Perfect Assisi Location and Excellent Accommdation Casolare Santan Margherita was a perfect home for my husband and I and our 6 friends. The setting was beautiful and the home was completely fitted with everything a large group could possibly need. We were within walking distance of St Frances of Assisi church and went there several times during our week stay. The home is also conveniently located to see other Umbrian and Tuscan towns. However, if you just wanted to relax by the pool and enjoy the solitude, this is the place to do it. We all hope to return again in the future we had such a good time.

Beautiful Italian Villa. Roberto and Bendetta were so welcoming to us for our stay at their villa. We loved this home, it was very comfortable and accommodated our family so well. We loved the pool, so refreshing after a day in Assisi. The kitchen was well equipped, and we had as many as 12 for breakfast one morning. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the living area was spacious. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the villa is very private with a security gate at the entrance. Roberto was very helpful in helping us with recommendations for restaurants (we organized a rehearsal dinner for our sons wedding at a restaurant he recommended, Carfagna). He also was helpful in helping us find transportation for our group of 24 to go wine tasting in the Montefalco area. Overalll, this was a beautiful villa, we loved staying here!
