General terms and conditions of sale

The booking of the Holiday Villa "Casale Santa Margherita" implies the acceptance of the regulations detailed here below.
The person making the booking accepts personal responsibility for following them, including for other guests.

Prices are given in Euros and are per entire Holiday Villa per night.
The price agreed for the duration of the stay includes utilities (electricity, water and heating), kitchen linen, bed linen and towels, private parking, exclusive use of the Villa and the swimming pool.
The price does not include the Tourist Tax which must be paid on arrival.

You can book the Holiday Villa "Casale Santa Margherita" online using the booking system on our website.
To confirm the reservation, personal details, a telephone number, e-mail address, the duration of the stay, and the number of guests must be provided, and payment made by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal. The reservation is confirmed only after payment has been received.
In case of any problems using of the online booking system, you can request quotes and information using the form on the “Contacts” page of the website.

Bookings may be cancelled up to 60 days before arrival and a full refund will be given. The entire amount paid will be returned within 5 working days.
Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will be refunded 50% and half of the amount paid will be returned within 5 working days.
Cancellations made after this deadline will result in the loss of the entire amount paid. In case of of no-show or early departure, the full amount of the agreed reservation will be retained.
The reservation can be cancelled, before the deadline, by sending an email to: info@casalesantamargherita.com.

Guests are requested to notify us (by email to info@casalesantamargherita.com, by calling +39 328 9455023 or by sending a text message via Whatsapp) of their exact arrival time at least 24 hours before arrival in order to receive an adequate welcome.
Guests should check-in to the Villa over from 3:00 pm.
On arrival, all guests must show a valid identity document.

The Municipality of Assisi imposes a tourist tax of € 2.00/night per person for the first 3 nights. Children under the age of 12 are exempt.
The Tourist Tax must be paid locally, in cash, upon arrival.

All keys and the gate remote control should be returned on the day of departure. In case of loss, a refund of € 20.00 is required.
The apartment must be vacated before 10.00 am, unless otherwise agreed.

If we find ourselves forced to cancel the reservation due to force majeure, the customer will be refunded the entire amount paid.

Your pets are welcome with a weekly cost of € 50.00 for additional cleaning.
They are forbidden to climb on beds, sofas or other furniture inside the Villa and access to the pool area.
For their physiological needs, the dogs must be accompanied outside the Villa, but not in the garden; for this purpose they can be taken to the olive grove adjacent to the Villa.

Use of the swimming pool is subject to the regulations posted at the entrance to the dedicated area.

We ask our guests to pay attention to the sorting of waste. Near the Holiday Villa, there are large containers for the different types of waste: organic, dry-residual waste, plastic, paper and glass, which can be opened with a key among those given upon arrival.

Help us respect the environment by avoiding wasteful use of energy and water.
Please always check that the lights and air conditioning are are turned off when they are not needed. Thank you.

• We ask that guests take the utmost care of the property.
• It is not permitted to exceed the maximum number of people allowed to stay in the Villa or to allow strangers to enter the apartment without having previously informed us.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Villa and throwing cigarette butts on the ground throughout the property, also to prevent possible fires.
• Minors are the responsibility of their parents throughout the property.
• We clean and change linens weekly. Any extra change of linens, previously requested by the guests, will be charged at €10.00 per person. Linens include kitchen towels, a complete set of bed linen and a set of towels (personal, face and shower) per person.
• We ask you to help maintain the efficiency of the Villa by informing us of any problems or deficiencies within 24 hours of your arrival.
• The customer expressly exempts us from any liability for any direct or indirect damages that may result from any unavoidable interruptions to essential services such as electricity and water. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss, theft or damage of objects belonging to the guests left in the Villa or for any accidents, thefts, damage to people or things simply because they occurred within the property.

In accordance with art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), we will follow procedures on the processing of any personal data provided in compliance with the legislation on the protection of the processing of personal data. Pursuant to and for the purposes of this legislation, data processing is based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and the protection of confidentiality and consumer rights. The provision of data is optional. In case of failure to provide the same, we will be unable to consider any request to stay at the property. The data provided is only used for registration and delivery requirements to the authorities of P.S. as described by the TULPS. Personal data will not be retained for advertising or any other purposes unless expressly stated and agreed in writing by the customer. The personal data provided is collected electronically and may also be processed using electronic means.

These regulations are valid with immediate effect.
Failure to comply with any one of the above rules will result in the cancellation of the booking and the removal of the guests from the Villa with the loss of all monies already paid.
